Rooms

Different rooms for different needs

Peer group play

We believe that children thrive best with their peers, when they can play in a way that is safe and appropriate for their age and stage of development. That's why we have different rooms, each with its own dedicated staff at ALL Rainbow Tots nurseries.

Alongside our room‑based approach, every child at a Rainbow Tots Nursery is supported by a dedicated key person. This trusted adult builds a strong, nurturing relationship with each child and their family, helping them feel secure, understood, and confident as they explore and grow.

The key person also plays a vital role in easing transitions between rooms, ensuring that every child moves forward at their own pace with someone who knows them well and can champion their individual needs.”

Babies

A safe space for our youngest Rainbow Tots.  Our babies and infants are surrounded by soft play, interesting textures and areas to explore when they're ready.

There's an emphasis on sensory play whilst they find their feet.

Toddlers

A vibrant space for our toddlers.  A place to make noise, have fun and learn about the world.

Our toddlers are into everything and full of energy.

This is an art room, a music room, a building site, a theatre, a kitchen, it's somewhere in outer space...

Pre-School

Our Rainbow Tots are growing up so this room mixes creative fun with some more structured play.

They're introduced to reading and writing, baking and gardening but still encouraged to space travel whenever they want to!

They're getting ready for school but we're sad to see them go.
