King David Nursery

Welcome to King David!
My name's Cath and I'm the Nursery Manager. I'm incredibly proud to lead an exceptional team of experienced and dedicated staff.
Some of us might look familiar to you. That's because between us, we have 250 years of nursery experience. We are a team that know and love our jobs, each other and the community we work in.
Our nursery is well-established and very special. We hope to welcome your little one soon.
A bit about Cath
With an incredible 28 years at King David, Cath brings experience, heart, and a wonderfully daft sense of humour to the nursery.
As a mum of four and proud grandmother of eight, family is at the centre of everything she does.
She loves the diversity of her role and the joy of watching children grow.
Outside of work, you’ll find her reading, walking, and keeping active. Her favourite books include Uncle Buck and Paul O’Grady’s autobiography.

Meet our team

We keep our Tots safe, happy and nurtured, all within a warm, Jewish environment.
All our prices are inclusive with no hidden extras and include nappies and a hot meal and snacks. All food provided is under the auspices of the Beth Din.
Rooms
At King David Nursery the children are split into different rooms based on age, so that we can focus on their specific needs and ensure that they have age-appropriate toys and equipment to play with.

Infants
A safe, nurturing space tailored for babies from 3-18 months. With an emphasis on sensory play, our babies and infants are surrounded by colour, texture and interesting surfaces. .
There are quiet places to sleep but plenty to stimulate them whilst they find their feet.

Tweenies
Our Tweenies are aged 15 months-2 years and need somewhere vibrant. A place to make noise, have fun and learn about the world.
Our toddlers are into everything and full of energy.
This is an art room, a music room, a building site, a theatre, a kitchen, it's somewhere in outer space...

Nursery
Our Tots are growing up and need a mix of creative fun and structured play to feed their imagination.
We introduce them to reading and writing, baking and gardening (but still encourage space travel whenever they want it!)
We're sad to see them go but so proud to know that they are ready for the transition to school.
